What Your Snapchat Says About You

Oh, Snapchat, the most entertaining (yet arguably most useless) social tool to grace technology in the last few years. It's fun to send silly faces to your friends, or cute faces to that cutie you're trying to impress. Or, if you're me, you drinking your third cup of morning coffee to your bestie who's equally as addicted.

As with every other fun app, Snappers have developed certain behavioral patterns that we're all guilty of, no matter how hard we try to deny it. I include myself in that group. Some of these habits can be annoying, while the rest just make us giggle and do the same thing in return.

I asked some of my friends which of these behaviors they observe the most, and which they're most guilty of, too. These are their responses. Funny how much they say about my friends' personalities, right?

People who put the black text bar in a strategic place (i.e., so it covers a certain part of the snap):

Snapping and driving:

If you never send a picture of your face:

"I'm more interested in telling people I'm having a good time than having a good time."

When your pets are the subject of half (or more) of your snaps, we just assume you're like:

Watching people awkwardly Snapchat in public, we're like:

But the people doing it are like:

Turning snapchats into elaborate works of art:

Mass snapchats:

If your Best Snapchat Friends includes your ex and/or your significant other's attractive sibling:

If you send more than 10 Snapchats to a single person before recipient responds:

If you treat your Snapchat Story like it's Twitter:

"Snapchat totally was not meant for sexting."

Having full conversations via Snapchat:

And last but not least, sending Snapchats when you, uh, "aren't in the best state of mind":

Happy Snapchatting, my friends!
