Sunday Social + Catching up

Hi y'all and happy Sunday! I've been kind of MIA for a bit, but I'm back and have lots to share. So let's start off with the usual...

Be honest: How much time do you spend on social media a day?

Heh...probably more than I should. It fluctuates depending on how much work I have to do and if I'm procrastinating. I'd say probably 4-6 hours total, but that's spread out in increments throughout the entire day. I'm also in a social media class this semester, so that plays into it, too.

How long did you read blogs before you started blogging?

Not too long...maybe 6 months? I decided that I wanted to blog pretty quickly after I really got invested in a couple of blogs. Also saw my friends doing it at school and it just looked so fun.

What is your favorite kind of cupcake?

Oh, I don't know if I can pick ONE favorite...but I've had a few that would come close. The Nutella cupcake (top) I had in London last summer was divine, as was the vanilla cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake.

Do you eat fast food? What's your favorite?

Chick-fil-a, duh. Five Guys for burgers, though. And if I'm feeling cheap, Cook Out.

What's the most random thing someone would find in your purse?

Scrap paper and a pen, probably. Or a phone charger.

What's the weirdest TV show you watch?

Is 'Say Yes to the Dress' weird? Or 'Duck Dynasty'? Or 'Chopped'? I don't know, I don't really watch anything super weird...I don't think...

----------

So that's all for the Sunday Social...now time to play some catch-up. First of all, new design and color scheme! I wanted something springy and bright, so this is what I came up with. Still working out the kinks and figuring out what to do with the background, but you get the general idea. Also coming soon, a button for y'all to grab and share. :) Design inspired by this shirt I bought recently...

This past week was my spring break...the last one of my undergraduate career! My parents and I went down to North Carolina to visit family and friends, hunt for lake houses, and to see Elon. Good news: we found an apartment in Elon for next year! It's a lot like the place I live at now, it's convenient to campus, and most importantly, it's super convenient to Target and Chick-fil-a. And I got my fair share of barbecue, which always makes me happy. There's nothing like a good plate of Carolina barbecue, Lexington style. Although my dad would debate me and say Eastern is better. Go Lexington or go home, I say.

Happy Sunday & have a great week, y'all!
