Sunday Social!

Happy Sunday, everyone! My first semester of iMedia starts on Tuesday, so I'm using these next couple of days to get my last little bit of relaxation in before academia takes over yet again. Also, the US Open starts tomorrow, and I'm so excited for two weeks of awesome tennis.

1. What are you most looking forward to about fall?
Football! VT named Michael Brewer (transfer from Texas Tech) its starting QB yesterday, and I cannot wait to see his debut against William & Mary next weekend. Also, fall fashion...I love cardigans and scarves and thick, chunky sweaters, and increasingly leggings. And boots. And plaid.

2. What is/are your favorite sports team(s)?
VT Hokies, UNC Tar Heels (for basketball more than football), and Houston Texans!

VT starting QB Michael Brewer!

3. If you could go back to college, is there anything you would change?
I've often thought that I'd change my major/minor combination. I did a double major in communication and English, and maybe I'd do a single major in communication with a double minor in English and Spanish. I studied Spanish in high school and loved it, and I missed taking a language in college. I'm glad I did what I did, of course, but if I could change anything, maybe I'd give that a try.

4. What was your favorite class you ever took, HS or college?
I really loved a poetry class I took my junior year of college. I wasn't that great at writing poetry, but I had a wonderful professor and an awesome group of people in the class. I also took a really great Communications Campaigns class my junior year, in which we developed a PR campaign for an actual non-profit organization. It was great experience and a ton of fun (mostly).

5. Reach into your purse: what's the first thing you pull out?
Chapstick. Always. You can never have too much of it. And since my dad works in pharmaceuticals, I literally always have it on me, and always have at least three backups at home.

Also, I updated my "about me" page, so take a look and let me know what you think! It's much simpler than it was before.

Happy Sunday, y'all!

I never liked the waxy feeling of chapstick and the smell, but always had to have some kind of balm or lipstick. Happy Sunday!
