If We're Going to be Friends...

...then here are some things you should know about me! Inspired by this post by Neely at A Complete Waste of Makeup!  If we're going to be friends, then you should know that...
You will see me with coffee and/or Coke in my hand more often than you will not see me with one/both of these things. 

See? Even at Foxfield, I have a coke. 

I love my cat and I will most likely show you a picture of her at some point during our first conversation. I have about 40 pictures of her on my phone. She's precious.

I have Chapstick and Advil on me at all times. 
My taste in music hasn't changed since I was about 14. Remember Yellowcard? Still love them. Always will.
I have a penchant for solid-colored t-shirts and denim shorts. And cardigans. And scarves. And boots. 
My favorite NFL team is a team that no one on the East Coast cares about, and I'm proud of that. Go Texans. I cannot wait to see JJ and Jadeveon tear stuff up next season. Oh my. 

I'm often a creature of habit when it comes to eating at certain places. For example, there is a Mexican place in Blacksburg called El Rodeo (El Rods for short), and I get the exact same thing every time I go: quesadilla ranchero with beef. Jordan gets the same thing, except with chicken. We don't even have to look at the menus anymore, unless we're deciding what kind of margaritas we want. 
I did not read Harry Potter until I was in college. I did not like The Hunger Games enough to finish the series. I haven't read the Divergent series yet. 

But I am obsessed with David Sedaris. He's wonderful and I would love to see him on one of his book tours someday. 
My pet peeve--one of them, at least--is when people think they're busier than everyone else. If I hear you say, "I just have so much to do, you don't understand how busy I've been," or anything of the like, I will call you out. 
I don't like baseball. Never have. I will take football and basketball over it any day. And tennis, too. Hockey is growing on me. 
My favorite actor is Tom Cruise. Judging me? Well then...

I will often talk about how bad of a cook I am, because it's true. I am much better at cleaning and organizing than cooking. 
I do not like seafood of any kind, except calamari. I cannot stomach fish, lobster, crab, shrimp, or anything normal, but throw me a plate of fried squid and it'll be gone in five minutes or less. Weird, I know. 
I'm entertaining. At least I've been told.
