Things That Make Me Smile {Life Lately}

Happy Monday, y'all! I missed my weekly Friday post last week, so I figured it'd be a good way to start my week. With fall in full swing and winter slowly encroaching, that means the holidays are getting closer and closer, and so is colder weather. And what does that mean? All of my seasonal favorites are coming back!
Warm Laundry - I actually don't mind doing laundry in the colder months, because there's nothing like putting on a pair of sweatpants fresh out of the dryer. 
CoffeeMate Seasonal Flavors - I look forward to these each year probably a little more than I should. I always make sure I have some "plain," unflavored coffee at home to spice up with one of these. My fridge is always stocked with at least two of these, and I make sure to stock up after the holidays so I can enjoy them for as long as possible. Peppermint Mocha and Gingerbread are my favorite flavors. What's yours?

JJ Watt "School Dance" Commercial - Okay it's unrelated to holiday things, but humor me... You've seen the Verizon commercial with JJ Watt that promotes NFL mobile, right? Well, we've got one better: the outtakes from said commercial. When JJ first tweeted it, he said, "More bad dance moves, if that's your thing." Oh, it's my thing, JJ. 

Holiday crafts - My arts & crafts board on Pinterest has blown up with Christmas crafts in the last week or two (sorry, followers). Since I won't be in Elon for very long in December (yay for being done with the semester by December 9), I have to start early to enjoy my own Christmas decorations. I've made my own snow globes, wine cork reindeer, and some cute hair bows. I also have tons of ideas for gifts for friends. Thanks, Pinterest. At least you're keeping my creativity flowing. 

Baking - There are so many delicious things to bake during the holidays, and so many wonderful, seasonal flavors to take advantage of while we can. Pumpkin donuts, spiced zucchini bread, and so much more. I can't wait to make all sorts of chocolates and cookies when I'm home with my family. 

Penguins - Have you seen this John Lewis commercial? I may or may not have teared up a little when I watched it. Nicely done, John Lewis. I want a penguin best friend...
