Sunday Social: A New Link-Up!

Hey y'all! I've been off for a few days, but now I'm back.

I'm a sucker for link-up, and I found a great new one last week. It's called Sunday Social, and this is my first post for it. So let's give it a go!

What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?

My blog is called "A Thought and a Half," and it's been going strong since August 2011. When I first created it, I called it "On a Lighter Note" and wrote about the little things I found in each day that made me smile. But as my blog developed, the theme evolved and a renaming was necessary. "A Thought and a Half" works very nicely, I think!

Why do you blog?

I blog because I love to write and I wanted a more public outlet to share my thoughts. And it's just plain fun!

What is the first blog you ever followed?

I can't remember for sure, but there's a good chance that was Jordan in Pearls, run by my dear friend Jordan!

What is your favorite post you wrote in 2013?

Any of my posts from my London trip, because rereading them brings back wonderful memories. Also love my tribute to Erick Green, my "why I don't like Taylor Swift" post, my open letter to Hokie fans, and 13 Things We Can Learn from Julie Andrews.

What are your blogging goals for 2014?

I would really like to try writing about new and different topics and expand my readership. Please comment below with suggestions for things you'd like to see!

I'd also like to keep a consistent design. I tend to be indecisive with my design and theme, but I'd like to find one and keep it for a while. I like this one right now.
