The 12 Days of Finals, Grad School Edition

A couple years ago, I wrote this post The 12 Days of Finals, to mark finals week in the fall semester of my senior year at Virginia Tech. While I don't have traditional finals in grad school, I do have several projects and a presentation...oh, and my thesis project. Graduation can't come soon enough, really. iMedia is almost done!

So I thought, why not revamp The 12 Days of Finals into a spring-semester-grad-school edition? It's still crazy and stressful, but in different ways.

THE 12 DAYS OF FINALS a la GRAD SCHOOL

TWELVE hours spent in editing suites slaving away at thesis projects.

ELEVEN job applications, because getting hired is important, too.

TEN hours of sleep in one week.

NINE trips to Starbucks (or your preferred coffee shop).

EIGHT Javascript errors (and zero ideas about how to fix them).

SEVEN project team meetings.

SIX near mental breakdowns.

FIVE very nice "please hire me" emails.

FOUR moments of terror when you're not sure if your code will work.

THREE presentations.

TWO interviews.

ONE mentally and physically exhausted but happy grad student. Celebrate? Yes.
