I have a thing for Acoustics

Isn't there a song with a lyric about, "I'm a sucker for anything acoustic"?  If that indeed exists, then that describes my taste in music pretty accurately.

So for this week's playlist, let's indulge in my acoustic interests, from covers to original acoustic recordings.  They're just so fun and enjoyable and easy-going.

  1. Mona Lisa -- All-American Rejects
  2. Move Along -- All-American Rejects
  3. Amazing Because It Is -- The Almost
  4. I Can Do Better -- Avril Lavigne (judge all you want, this is a great song and will likely appear on another playlist in the future)
  5. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away -- The Beatles (duh)
  6. Seven Bridges Road (Live) -- The Eagles
  7. Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner -- Fall Out Boy
  8. Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy -- Fall Out Boy (old-school Fall Out Boy fan til I die)
  9. Some Nights -- Fun. (Nate Ruess, be my Valentine)
  10. Slide -- Goo Goo Dolls (necessary)
  11. 6 Months -- Hey Monday (Cassadee Pope pre-Voice days)
  12. Rescued -- Jack's Mannequin (not sure if this counts as entirely acoustic, but I'm going with it because it's beautiful. And if we follow that logic, then "Hammers and Strings" deserves a mention, too)
  13. The Middle -- originally by Jimmy Eat World, but We The Kings also did a great acoustic cover of this song
  14. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp -- Led Zeppelin
  15. Rhythm of Love -- Plain White T's
  16. Sell Out -- Reel Big Fish (entire Skacoustic album is great)
  17. Be My Escape -- Relient K
  18. Papercut -- The Summer Set (one day, I will be able to play this song for myself)
  19. Punch-Drunk Love -- The Summer Set (the song that roped me into Summer Set fandom, actually)
  20. Dynamite -- Taio Cruz (I was surprised at how much I liked this acoustic set)
  21. A Little Faster -- There For Tomorrow (kinda forgot this band existed until I rediscovered them in my iTunes recently)
  22. Check Yes, Juliet -- We The Kings (I will forever love this song)

...and to save the time and space, I'll just group all of Yellowcard's acoustic stuff in one place and say it's all wonderful and I love it and it's the greatest.  But y'all knew I wouldn't do a music post without mentioning them, right?

Oh, and the song I mentioned in the beginning?  It's "Mix Tape" by Brand New.  I knew I wasn't crazy or imagining something.
